How much are event boxes? Do you deliver them or do I need to pick them up at a Ray’s facility?

Event boxes are available at a cost of $6 each plus tax. We do not provide the liners. If a liner is desired we have found that the large 55 gallon liners work best. The boxes can be easily reused so we recommend unfolding them and storing them until your next event. Event boxes can only be picked up from the following convenient Ray’s locations: 334 Recycle, Ray’s Recycle and Ray’s Indianapolis Recycling.

Why does Ray’s charge a fuel surcharge?

Ray’s bases our fuel surcharge (FSC) on the Department of Energy Index for the Midwest. Ray’s was very slow to implement a FSC when diesel prices rose and managed to avoid a FSC until 2010. The FSC that has been implemented does NOT cover the entire cost of fuel. This small portion only allows Ray’s to continue offering our customers the most competitive pricing possible without compromising service. Ray’s continues to monitor the ever fluctuating fuel prices and adjust as needed.

Can the rolloff be set in the street?

Most Cities/Towns require permits or approval before a rolloff can be set in the street. The homeowner or business must supply a copy of the permit or approval to Ray’s before we will set a rolloff.

Is it necessary to for someone to be onsite for delivery or removal?

It is not necessary to have someone onsite for delivery or removal of the container. However, please be as specific as possible when answering the delivery questions, as the driver will use their best judgment and place the container in the safest accessible area when delivering the container. If an onsite contact is not available for delivery, you will be responsible for all charges involved with relocation of the dumpster should it be necessary. For removal; customer agrees to provide unobstructed access to the equipment on the scheduled pick-up day; if equipment is inaccessible customer is subject to additional pick-up charges.

What are unacceptable waste items for a roll-off dumpster?

Hazardous waste, dirt, industrial waste, chemical products, oil filters, herbicides & pesticides, radioactive material, solvents, paint (except completely dried latex paint cans, no liquids), other flammable liquids, aerosol cans, propane tanks, motor oil, transmission oil/lubricating/hydraulic oil/oil filters, contaminated oils (mixed with solvents, gasoline, etc.), antifreeze, appliances, petroleum-contaminated soil/lead paint chips, tires, batteries, computers, monitors, televisions, microwaves, fluorescent tubes, railroad ties, medical waste, asbestos, animals, barrels, all liquids. Material must be level at the top of the container; nothing can be sticking out of the top. Customer is liable for all materials contained within the dumpster. How long am I able to keep the rolloff container?

Rolloff containers are based on 7 days of use. If you need to use the container for longer than 7 days additional fees apply. Please contact us through our Rolloff contact form for more details.

What size rolloff containers does Ray’s provide?

Ray’s carries 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 yard roll off containers.
